Dear Piero,

how sorry I am that I cannot be with you to remember Léo ! Of the various conversations I had with him, I remember one in particular. It was about the Israel-Palestine conflict and he told me ‘Je suis farouchement anti-Zioniste’. A clear position that I unreservedly share and which few have the courage to take.

I will think of you with affection and nostalgia.
